SirHolmes is a Charlotte, NC based rapper, athlete, activist and public figure. He attended the historic West Charlotte High School where he played a number of sports including football, basketball and more. However his athleticism truly shined in his college years when he attended UNCC as a pioneer. In 2021, Holmes achieved defensive MVP playing professional arena football for former NFL Carolina Panthers star Thomas Davis' Charlotte Thunder.  

 

  SirHolmes love for music began in the church where his father sang lead and his mother praised dance. A lot of his melodies and rhythms stem from the church. His music career started in 2020 during the pandemic, when he recorded and released his first project, a 9 track EP featuring his more familiar single "Show Love". During some of his football games, his music would play through their half-times and 3rd downs! He then was inspired to complete and release his 1st album "SirHolmes 100k" in 2021. Holmes draws inspiration from artists such as T.I., Plies, 50Cent, Shawty Lo, Jeezy, 2Chainz and Drake. He looks forward to working with Charlotte's own DaBaby, Boosie and the hip hop mogul Jay Z.

  

  Entrepreneurship is also among the many qualities of Sir Holmes as he owns a fitness company Holmes Natural Fitness, LLC and a promotional company Access Granted Promotions Corp. 

 

 SirHolmes motivation and goal is to bring lacking resources and tools to his community that will inspire generational wealth, health, self-improvement and overall development. He also hopes to encourage the youth to be more productive and reduce gun violence in his community. He does not promote any type of violence in his music and it reflects in his approach to better his people.
